I thought these were corny at first, but after reading my friends blogs, I thought it would be nice to make one! Many who know me, know that I am not the sentimental type, or at least not publicly. Hmmm how do I start this? I'll start by saying I'm 23 years young. I just graduated from Kansas State University in December with a degree in hotel and restaurant management. Well that degree hasn't gotten me any management position yet...oh well. I just got a job serving at Ya Ya's, a more upscale restaurant in Wichita. I'm enjoying it so far. Honestly, I really should've changed majors, but I had graduation on my mind when that thought came across my mind. Oh well, you're never too old to go back to college.
I'm living with my parents for the time being...not sure how long. It's not so bad though! My mom is a caterer so she's always cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and lucky me, I'm the guinea pig. Plus come summer time, I'll be floating on a raft with a beer in hand in their lake. Woohoo, it's quite the hangout for all friends in the summer! Can't wait!
Currently, I'm in a long distance relationship with my boyf BoBo...yeah you're wondering why I'm dating a guy named BoBo. That is not his actual legal name, it's just a nickname he's picked up on the way. His name is Brian, and we met in Sept. 2007, my sophomore year at K-State. He'd had his eye on me while houseboying at my sorority. He kept inviting some girls in my pledge class to parties and one Wednesday night after chapter, I said "what the hell, I 'll go out!". Long story short, he made his move, and my intoxicated self asked him to our next date party. And we've been together ever since. His next genius move would be proposing haha. I know it's coming, I just need to tell myself to be patient. It's just harder than one would think when you go from seeing each other everyday for 2 and a half years to every 2 months.
Anyway, I'll end this rambling on! I need to go workout and take my computer to the Geek Squad since it decided it didn't want to charge anymore...technology!
Wots of wuv!
